Agility Instructor
Sandra started taking agility classes in 2019 with Hi Flyers. She just wanted to do something fun with her young dog. Fast forward to a few years later, she was still taking classes and started developing more and more interest in the sport. To continue building her skills, and share her love of the sport she started teaching at Dumbledogs in June of 2022.
She loves incorporating different games into her classes that will eventually transfer into confidence for the dog and the handler as skills get more complex. Agility is all about fun for you and your dog.

Charlie (born August 2017) a cocker spaniel mix that’s sweet and spicy. Charlie runs my life and can do no wrong. She is my first agility dog but we didn’t start trialing until later in her life. Charlie has inspired me to learn more about why dogs disengage when they enter the ring.
Charlie’s favourite courses are jumpers courses because she thrives when she’s going fast on a nice flowy course.
Charlie has also completed courses in animal acting and disc. She’s my primary demo dog for my classes and has been doing it for years now.
Jasper (born July 2018) is a very sensitive and chatty Springer spaniel mix. He yells at me a lot when I make a mistake when running on course with him. We took a long break from competing but are getting back into it and future is looking bright for this guy. He’s taught me how to build confidence in a very sensitive dog. Jasper has also completed classes in disc and enjoys disc some days more than agility. His favourite an activity (besides stealing shoes) is swimming in any body of water (springers, am I right?)
Oliver (estimated birth date April 2023…adoption date February 2024). Ollie was surrendered to Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue by his previous owner. I fostered him for less than 24 hours before I decided that he’s not going anywhere and I’m keeping this trouble maker. Ollie has been a very challenging adolescent but he excels in any training you throw his way. He’s taught me more about dog training and agility since I’ve adopted him than I’ve learned in many years prior. He’s completed classes in animal acting, agility and flyball. He absolutely loves doing agility and will be a superstar in no time.
