Bootcamps
Bootcamps
Does your dog not do well in a daycare setting? Are you looking for some assistance with training certain behaviors? Do you want to continue socializing your dog in different environment? If you said yes to any or all of those questions, then Dumbledog's Bootcamp service may be what you are looking for.
During your dog's day stay with us, we will work on boosting confidence, along with any skills you want: reactivity, dog/dog aggression, sports training, basic manners, or even fun tricks to show off to your friends. Pretty much anything you can think of, we can incorporate into your dog's Bootcamp day.
After your session, you will receive a report card outlining the skills worked on, and how to continue at home.
Training shouldn't end when Bootcamp does, so it's up to you to keep working with your dog to see continued progress.
Bootcamps pair great with the Group Classes, Private Training, or the Train & Walks we offer.
~ Dogs are worked separately, they will never interact with each other. ~
~ Dogs are kenneled between sessions for training breaks. ~

Meet the Coaches

Bootcamp Coach (Tuesdays/alternating Fridays)
Rhiannan Wishart
Rhiannan brings a deep understanding of behavior and enrichment to everything she does. She teaches our Basic Manners and Advanced Manners classes and has an incredible ability to work with dogs who struggle with over stimulation. If a dog finds the world a little too big or a little too exciting, Rhiannan knows how to help them slow down, think, and make better choices. She is especially skilled at dog to dog interactions and has a calm, thoughtful approach that helps dogs learn how to exist around others without losing their minds. She's the coach you want when you need real behavior change, not just a quick fix.

Bootcamp Coach (alternating Fridays)
Donna McTavish
Donna has been training dogs for over a decade and is one of the founders of River City Disc Dogs, which pretty much says it all. She is a true master of dog Frisbee games, but her experience goes far beyond that. Donna does almost every dog sport she can get her hands on, from disc and flyball to agility, barn hunt, dock diving, skijoring, kicksledding and more. She also teaches our Calm Canine class and has an incredible talent for helping high drive dogs learn how to settle, breathe, and find their inner zen. Watching Donna work is watching balance in action, bringing both excitement and calm into a dog's training.
