kristine boyce
Agility Instructor
Kristine began her agility journey in 2003 with her first rescue dog Ali. Ali had separation anxiety so her vet, Dr. Moffat, recommended that they try agility to build her confidence. It worked and Kristine was hooked on agility!
Kristine started teaching agility a few years later at classes near Selkirk and has taught at a couple of places before joining the Dumbledogs agility team in 2022.
Kristine loves teaching all levels of classes and watching the bond grow between the human and dog.
Kristine currently competes with her Australian Shepherds Brew (10), Zeke (5) and previously competed with her mother's dog Stryker, now passed on. She has a border collie puppy named Syren who she hopes will also love agility.
In addition to agility, Kristine also participates in Herding, Disc, Dock Diving, Scenting, Sprinter and Rally Obedience.

Brew (estimated DOB December 25, 2015) an Australian Shepherd rescue who was found running on a highway near Gladstone, MB. Kristine fostered Brew and he never left. When he first came to live with Kristine he was afraid of everything and wouldn’t eat with her in the room or play with any toys. Through lots of love, play and confidence building, he became the best boy who loves being with Kristine and playing agility (but not in the heat), disc, sprinter and rally.
Zeke (born April 27, 2020), an Australian Shepherd who is very energetic, loves all people and loves many dog sports – agility, disc, dock diving, herding, sprinter and scent detection (rally is too slow for him right now haha).
Syren (born September 15, 2025) a Border Collie puppy who is super sweet, smart and very energetic.
