Agility Instructor
A little bit about Carol, her first ever dog and agility dog was Rio, a Havanese. They started agility classes back in 2007. He was a rascal and a challenge to train, they did get to compete but didn’t get too
far. That dog taught her a lot about dog training!
In 2010 her first true competitive agility dog came to live with me, he was a Shetland Sheepdog, Jett. He had some challenges but theye worked very hard. Jett earned his Agility Title Championship of
Canada (ATChC) and a Masters level Bronze when he retired at age 10.
Her third agility dog is Ginny, Border Collie, and they worked very hard at her foundations in agility and she is Carol's most successful dog so far. She has competed in many Agility Association Canada (AAC) Regional events over the years and has won the Grand Aggregate in her height division 2023, 2024, 2025. They have been to four AAC National Championships where she has made the top 10 twice. Last summer (August 2025) at age 11, she placed 8th in her height class. She has achieved her ATChC level Gold.
Carol's young(er) dog Edge, Border Collie has been trialing for 16 months. He likes to do everything very fast! She looks forward to lots of successes with him!
In addition to agility, Carol has also competes in CKC Rally Obedience with Ginny and is currently working on her Rally
Excellent level as well as CKC conformation with Edge (champion Nov 2022).
So as you can see, Carol has seen & worked with many different types of dogs & challenges. Her favourite part is the dog training and she looks forward to working with you & your canine partner on your Agility journey!
